Frank’s announces Extended Range series of tools.
(TOOL NEWS) July 11, 2010- Frank’s Casing Crew & Rental Tools is pleased to announce completion of another industsizry first: the success of its Extended Range series of tools. The following tapered string was recently run, without the need to change the elevator or spider. - 8,644’, 13 5/8” x 88.20 ppf, Q-125 (bottom)
- 4,781’, 16” x 109 ppf, P110 (top)
This data represents a 2 3/8” variance in diameter from top to bottom. The buoyed weight for the string was 1,229,860 lbs. The job was run utilizing the Frank’s 1250 Ton Extended Range tools.
