A proven performer, Frank's Shoe Box enables float shoes to be rapidly made-up to a joint of pipe. This is achieved without risk of cross-threading or damage to the connections.

 

The spider grips the Shoe Box, aligning it accurately with the wellbore. The flange extends over the top of the spider thus preventing the Shoe Box from dropping into the hole. Located inside the Shoe Box is a spring-loaded pad that it rests on. Also in the shoe are rubber centralizers that work to keep the shoe in perfect vertical alignment. This eliminates the need for manual positioning therefore improving safety, efficiency and assembly time.
