Wrap-Around Manual Tongs

The Frank's family of Wrap-Around Manual Tongs includes 4 Tong Models: F-25, F-65, F- 85 and F-120. Each of these tongs is similar in design and each model provides nearly 360° of die contact around the tubular being gripped. Due to the large amount of die contact, these tongs dramatically reduce the amount of die marking on the pipe body, making them ideal for use on CRA materials. In 1978, Frank's engineered and manufactured its first power tong to meet the strict criteria of its casing crews, who demanded only top performance from their casing tools. Their quest was to produce casing tools that would prove reliable in the field with tough durability and minimum breakdowns. The result was Frank's first power tong, which was built tough-heavier bearings, case, gears and shafts, plus tight quality control standards. Frank's inventories over 1,000 hydraulic power tongs in different models, sizes and torque capacities, ranging from tubing sized up through 36" casing size.
