Frank’s RS1000C Rotary Spider

The Frank’s RS750C is a Varco 750 tool that Frank’s has converted to a rotary spider. The converted tool will fit any 49 1/2” rotary and extends just 10 inches above the rig floor making casing running operations safer and more efficient. The Frank’s RS1000C is the converted version of the Varco 1000 and will fit any 60 1/2” rotary. Both tools are air powered for safety and speed.

 

In keeping with our commitment for safety and constant improvement of operations, Frank’s has developed an added equipment option for more fail-safe operations. With Frank’s “Fail Safe” System, the slips on one tool will not open unless the mating tool is securely latched around the pipe body. Setting the slips on the collar will not allow the other tool to be unlatched. Frank’s “Fail Safe” System is available on both the RS750C and RS1000C rotary spiders.

 

In addition to the RS750C and RS1000C, Frank’s inventories an extensive line of casing and tubing handling tools. All tools are maintained by a Frank’s trained maintenance staff to insure the safety and reliability of every tool.
